Oct half term 2011
We have been blessed with the most amazing half term weather. We arrived rather late so had a lovely surprise when we woke to discover the views.
Our best days out were : Shell island collecting shells and playing in the dunes,. The family trail at Tan Y Coed the boys loved the walk and looking for clues. Dollgoch Falls ; the boys walked all the way to the top where we ate our picnic. Beautiful and then caught the train back to Tywyn. We took a white road over the mountain to discover a Y shaped lake which was much more beautiful than Bala, no one around.

From the moment I booked this holiday it felt right. It has been wonderful to enjoy beautiful surroundings. The beds are comfortable and the cottage a delight. It’s nice to bring Arthur the dog . Cartre Wyn has literally been one of the most amazingly beautiful holidays that we have ever had. Thank you.

This was our first time here in North Wales. It was an amazing experience because Geufron Cottage provided us with a wonderful base. The views , the facilities and the consideration were very appreciated. We will definitely come back.

A great little cottage with amazing views had everything we needed and we will miss the view whilst having a cuppa or glass of vino in the evenings. The pool has been a great bonus.

Y Ffynnon - We have had a lovely stay. The location is perfect and offers stunning views across the countryside and Cardigan Bay. The walks in and around Geufron are a must. A trip to the honey ice cream factory is a must after a trip to Tywyn. Thanks for the initial warm welcome. We hope to be back very soon.

Bwthyn Bach - Great views, great cottage and great weather. Good to have local walks without taking the car. We thought Dolgoch Falls better than Swallow Falls. Excellent location, fantastic scenery and a real pleasure. We will come back.

Geufron Farmhouse - Had a lovely holiday and Easter Egg hunt. We have cycled to Barmouth from Dolgellau and went to the beach. The acoustics are great in the dining room. When it rained we went to the Centre for Alternative Technology. We also climbed to the top of Cader Idris.

Geufron Farmhouse - All the family had a great time at Geufron. What a lovely welcoming cottage. Kids enjoyed the pool. Great days out in Barmouth, Shell Island, Harlech Castle, Aberdovey, Llanfair Slate Mine - the list goes on. Sorry to leave, we would love to come back. Thanks to the owners for letting us take our dogs, they loved the beaches.
